Terms and conditions of offer. This offer is valid for 5 years from the date of purchase of your sewing machine and can be used at any time after 12 months from the date of purchase.

This Service offer is valid for the period show above, from the date of purchase.

We highly recommend to keep the box and packaging for your machine as this will be used to protect the item in transit.

The service must take place at a CraftSew UK based service centre. Our main service centre is located in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. 

With every service appointment, your machine will be thoroughly inspected including, if needed; adjusting, servicing the machine including the motor, feed dogs, stitch tension and balance to ensure your machine is reset to manufacturer's specifications.

We also clean out fluff, snapped thread, and any congealed or excessive oil. We ensure the working parts of the machine are clean and oiled (if necessary).

What this offer covers:
Labour for servicing a domestic sewing machine

This offer does not cover:
- Cost of replacement parts (if needed)
- Transportation charges to and from our service centre
- Repair to any fault that is not covered under guarantee
- Repair due to misuse or accidental damage

The service offer is deemed invalid if any of the following apply:

- If the product has already been serviced
- The machine is fitted with non-manufacturer approved parts.
- The machine is used outside of the United Kingdom.
- If the machine is used for profit or trade or other than in normal domestic circumstances.
- If the plug has not been fitted and fused in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- To any needles or light bulbs.
- The product was purchased by a business.
- You are not the first retail purchaser.
- To damage caused by not correctly following the operating instructions.
- To damage caused by accidental or deliberate misuse.
