The bernette b48 is a top of the range Funlock overlocker and topstitch sewing machine with a range of 23 stitches, including specific stitches for those specialisms as well as combination stitches, cover stitches, and a chain stitch. With colour coded thread paths, threading becomes simpler, along with the manual threader that helps with finding the eye of the needle without stress or strain.

With a rapid sewing speed of up to 1300 stitches-per-minute, large projects become less of a chore, and the precise stitching makes for a clean and professional finish in the shortest possible time.

The 87mm working area provides a comfortable and supportive workspace to manoeuvre your piece around, and the bright LED light keeps it illuminated and easy to see at any time of the day, so you can work whenever inspiration strikes.

With a built-in knife to cut the thread, it is operated from below to ensure a clean cut on stitches as well as making it safe to handle and use.
